What is Guardian?
Security infrastructure for organisations that cannot go offline. It protects your websites, servers and data, and gives your team one console to see what was stopped and what needs attention. It is operated by Merdot Private Limited.
Who is it for?
Hospitals, universities and schools, government bodies, banks and financial institutions, and businesses that run services people depend on.
How do I get Guardian?
Guardian is available by request. Request access and our team will reply by email.
How fast is a site protected?
Once your organisation is verified, a website can be protected the same day. Server and data protection start as soon as your administrator installs the agent.
Will my site slow down?
No noticeable change for real visitors. Guardian is built to keep your site fast while it is protected.
What do my visitors see?
Your site, as usual. Occasionally a new visitor may see a brief Guardian check before the page opens. It completes on its own for real people.
Does Guardian keep my data?
No. Guardian sees threats, not your data. It keeps no copy of your pages or your users' data, and personal data found on your servers is reported without the values themselves.
Who operates Guardian?
Guardian is operated by Merdot Private Limited, India.
Is on-premise deployment available?
Yes, on request. Tell us about your environment when you request access.
Does it help with the DPDP Act?
Yes. Guardian helps you find exposed personal data and produces a Data Protection Report that supports your obligations under the DPDP Act. It is not a compliance certification.
What happens during an attack?
Guardian keeps your site available and stops the attack before it reaches you. You see it in the console as it happens, can switch on under-attack mode with one click, and get alerts for anything that needs a person.
Can I leave?
Yes. Point your DNS back to your own servers and uninstall the agent. Nothing else is needed.
